WHEN AND WHERE DID IT START?

His first guitar was given to him when he was eleven years old. Miguel was already composing at this age. His family of latin americans, particuarly his mother, who sent him to his first arranger, encouraged him to pursue his gift of music. He began performing to the public by the age of 13. His stage presence had already began to develope, and the charismatic artist continued to compose and perform his own music. He was strongly influenced by artist's Jose Feliciano, Barnie Kessel, and Segovia. All of which he extends credit for his musical syle. With mellinium upon us, it his desire to combine Jazz/Contemporary/Latin/Tropical genres into his work. The response to his solo ablum reflects the growing interest in "jazz fusion".

Interests

Miguel is a practicing martial artist, loves beachs, romance, fast cars, family and friends. He is known to be shy offstage. He is fascinated with his culture, and indian history. He reads only non-fiction books, listens to a all types of music, and loves sculptured artworks. He lives on the beach, and says the coolest thing about it is that he can hear the waves break, and look at it. The interior of his home is a "Jungle", with carved tiger masks and reptiles throughout the living room. Even his glass desktop sits on two lion sculptures.
